BIOGRAPHY
Marcos Orviz received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, the M.S. degree in Electrical Energy Conversion and Power Systems, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Oviedo, Gijón, Spain, in 2018, 2020, and 2024, respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical, Electronic, Computers and Systems Engineering, University of Oviedo. In 2022, he was a Visiting Researcher at Korea University, Seoul, South Korea. From 2021 to 2024, he was a Board Member of the IEEE Student Branch Chapter IAS/PELS/PES, University of Oviedo. His research interests include electric machines control, diagnosis and monitoring, and digital signal processing.
