BIOGRAPHY
Juan M. Guerrero (S’00–A’01–M’04) received the M.E. degree in industrial engineering and the Ph.D. Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Oviedo, Gijón, Spain, in 1998 and 2003, respectively. Since 1999, he has occupied different teaching and research positions with the Department of Electrical, Computer and Systems Engineering, University of Oviedo, where he is currently an Associate Professor. From February to October 2002, he was a Visiting Scholar at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. From June to December 2007, he was a Visiting Professor at the Tennessee Technological University, Cookeville. His research interests include control of electric drives and power converters, smart grids and renewable energy generation.
